People come to therapy from different starting points. Some are looking for help with anxiety, stress, or depression. Others are struggling with recurring difficulties in relationships. Some already know that trauma or EMDR work is what they want. My approach is designed to meet people at these different entry points while offering one coherent way of working.
Therapy can support you if you’re struggling with anxiety, panic, overwhelm, low mood, stress, sleep difficulties, or challenges adjusting to life changes and transitions. We can start by helping you feel more stable and cope with immediate difficulties, while also exploring the deeper reasons behind these feelings over time.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centred around you as a person. I pay close attention to your unique experiences, feelings, and needs, and we build a trusting connection together. I’m also clinically grounded, so our work is informed by psychological understanding, while remaining flexible and tailored to your situation. Depending on what you’re looking for, we can focus on symptom relief and solution-oriented goals, or take more time to explore things in depth—always at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer therapy in both English and Russian and work with adults from a range of personal, cultural, and professional backgrounds. My aim is to offer therapy that is thoughtful, respectful, and supportive of meaningful change.
My work is grounded in Gestalt therapy and a person-centred way of working. This means therapy is shaped around you as an individual, with attention to dialogue, trust, and the therapeutic relationship.
Alongside this foundation, I draw on attachment and developmental understanding, as well as trauma-informed approaches. For some people, therapy begins with the wish to feel better quickly — for example around anxiety, panic, stress, insomnia, or low mood. For others, it begins with relationship difficulties or trauma. Depending on your needs, the work may remain focused and short term, or develop into longer-term therapy aimed at deeper understanding and change.
I offer therapy in both English and Russian, and I work with adults from a wide range of personal, cultural, and professional backgrounds. My way of working is shaped not only by therapeutic training but also by a long-standing interest in how personal history, relationships, and wider context influence emotional life.
For me, therapy is not only about reducing symptoms, but about helping people understand themselves more deeply, build greater stability, and create the conditions for meaningful change.
